One Trunk Theatre debuts its itty-bitty pop up theatre this winter at The Forks. Designed by 5468796 Architecture, this 32 square feet space will be home to free concerts, photography shoots, live performance and visual art installations between February 15-March 5, 2017.

Winnipeggers are invited to check out one of the scheduled performances, or discover the house for themselves. The space will be open to the public as a warming hut throughout these three weeks.

The Dollhouse of Commons will become home to One Trunk Theatre’s theatrical experiments and touring in years to come. Built on a bike trailer, this hyper-versatile space (with one side that opens completely (think removing the 4th wall) allows for a new performer/audience relationship. Audiences of up to 4 people can experience a show performed inside, or large groups can peer through the doors and windows to see a show going on inside, or the space can simple be a backdrop or bandshell for shows at festivals. We look forward to making enormous discoveries in a miniature environment.
