One Trunk Theatre debuts its itty-bitty pop up theatre in the winter of 2017 at The Forks. Designed by 5468796 Architecture, this 20 square feet space was be home to free concerts, photography shoots, live performance and visual art installations between February 15-March 5, 2017.
The Dollhouse of Commons is our exploration into a new, more intimate relationship between performer and audience member. The constraints of a 20 square foot playing area demands huge imagination, but denotes small risk.
The house will be a playing space, and home for future One Trunk touring productions, allowing us to expand our reach and bring theatre to the people! Look for it at upcoming festivals, or popping up on street corners near you.

The Dollhouse will return to The Forks on April 15th for an evening of Terrifying Tales by Make/Shift Theatre. It will also be a part of the Canada 150 Celebrations at The Forks and the Canada Summer Games Programming in the summer 2017.
